Urging Bangaloreans to adopt a healthier and ecofriendly option for transport, Zed habitat organized "Zed Miles" one of the city's biggest cyclathon event.
On Aug 21 about 3000 cycling enthusiasts comprising of students working professionals and environmentalists congregated at the city's Vidhana Soudha. The 3 hour cyclathon kick started with actress sirin Eswar flagging off at 8 am and ended at Malleswaram pre university grounds. Notable actors like Santosh, Nidhi, Neetu and Sunil puranik showed their commitment to a sustainable Bangalore.
The initiative was aimed to create awareness among the young Bangaloreans regarding energy conservation, rising pollution in the country and a healthy life style.
